Camera Collage!

This collage was so fun to create! We were assigned to create a photo collage of different angles with the type of angle that we took the picture from. First, I got one of my friends to be my subject for this project to create the photos. We had agreed to go picture by picture and started with the high angle and continued on. It was so fun taking pictures of her and it did help me get a feeling of how to take these photos from these angles. It also helped my better remember these angles. Each angle was planned differently. For instance, we took the high angle standing up to get the shot and for the low angle I had to duck down for it and for the two shot I had another one of my friends be in my collage as well! Every photo had a different plan and I believe they were well executed. After every picture was taken, I had made the collage and put all the pictures together and labeled them with the angle type. I finally downloaded the collage and submitted my assignment! Overall, this assignment was fun and knowledgeable and I loved it.

Mood Board

On my mood board, I put dark colors, abandoned houses, and woods. This serves as inspiration to our film by showing the mood and setting of our film and how we are planning to accomplish this opening. I worked with a group and we all made our own mood boards but I picked out the woods pictures and color theme of our film.

Editing

This week, our primary focus was on the editing process, which is one of the most challenging aspects of our project since it could determine our entire film. It was my first time ever editing a major project like this, but youtube and peers helped me with using Canva to put out film together and come to life. We reviewed all the trimmed videos we went through and added sound elements to make sure met our expectations before shifting our attention to transitions. We incorporated various transitions between clips to avoid abrupt cuts, utilizing techniques such as fades, dissolves, and swipes to enhance the film's visual appeal and fluidity. This addition effectively addressed the flow issue we identified last week and was crucial for improving the opening sequence.  Additionally, we established our studio name, BAR Films, which combines the initials of our names: Bella (short for Isabella), Ashley, and Ryleigh. This step lends a sense of professionalism and provides a title f...
